The 2026 Softball Tasmania
Annual General Meeting
will be held
August 2nd, 10:00 am, 19 Brisbane Street, Launceston
Delegates
Each association is invited and, as per the constitution, entitled to send two delegates:
- The President (or a designated representative), and
- One additional delegate
Attendance
Associations are asked to please forward the names of their two delegates not later than
Friday 24th July.
Sunday 12th July:
1. Notices of Motion (Special Resolutions) are due Sunday, 12th July
2. Board Position Notifications:
Two (2) elected Board Member positions (3‑year term) are open for re‑election or election
Two (2) appointed Board Member positions (1‑year term) are also open for re‑election or election
3. Nominations: Nomination form is available by email at sballdev@yahoo.com.au
Nominations for both elected and appointed positions must be sent to sballdev@yahoo.com.au and cc shezburnie@netspace.net.auby Sunday, 12th July.
Sunday 19th July:
The following will be distributed for discussion with your board.
· the agenda for the meeting;
· any notice of motion received from any Voting Member;
Note: Voting Members are defined as Affiliated Associations
· in the case of a proposed Special Resolution, the intention to propose -the Special Resolution and the terms of the proposed Special Resolution;
· where applicable, a list of all nominations received for positions to be elected at the General Meeting
Association President’s, and ST Board member reports will also be forwarded to association Secretaries at that time, or earlier if received.
Note:A copy of theAGM book will be available at the meeting for each Association and each ST Board Member.
